Downtown Victor has many old Victorian-style buildings like these, which date back to 1899. In that year, a horrible fire wiped out much of the buildings and much of the city was built from 1899 on. |

This is definitely a unique place. Many refer to Victor as a "ghost town", as there are only 400 year-round residents. Indeed, it can seem as though "time stands still" in this town with character. |
