To this day, I have not once seen vehicles parked in the Mt. Pisgah dirt parking lot outside of Cripple Creek on Teller County Road 1. I say that not to necessarily to criticize it or mock the developers of the particular spot, but it was indeed my first thought as my intuition told me to pull into the gravel parking lot.

I created two Cripple Creek pictorials (Tribute To Cripple Creek, View Of Cripple Creek From West) from my visit earlier in the afternoon and was looking for one more scenic spot to play with the digital camera. In all of the photos below, I pretty much stood in the same general vicinity! :)
