The Hornbek Homestead is located just north of the Fossil Beds National Monument on Teller County Road 1. From the town of Florissant, simply drive south on Teller County Road 1 for approximately two to three miles. |

I know during the summer months, the main house is open and manned by a forest service worker, where you can learn a lot more from a guide. |
