Cripple Creek, Colorado! I took this picture of Cripple Creek from the west side of town, as one enters from Teller County Road 1.

One can see all of the mining "sores" on the upper hills that overlook Cripple Creek. It's a constant reminder of Cripple Creek's rich mining past ... for better or worse.
